When is the Melbourne International Jazz Festival?

The 2024 Melbourne International Jazz Festival will take place from 18—27 October 2024.

How do I purchase tickets?

Once the 2024 MIJF program has been launched, tickets for most events can be purchased online through the Melbourne International Jazz Festival website. For any enquiries about the program or ticketing, please contact the MIJF office on (03) 9001 1388 or info@melbournejazz.com

Depending on the event, tickets may be purchased through the venue where the event is occurring or an authorised seller and are sometimes available at the venue box office on the night (subject to availability).

How do I get my tickets?

Tickets purchased through the Melbourne International Jazz Festival website are issued digitally and will be emailed to you. Please make sure to check your spam or junk folders in case your tickets made their way there, instead of your inbox. Tickets will be sent from ticketing@melbournejazz.com

If you purchased your tickets through the venue or an authorised seller please contact the point of purchase directly.

Booking Fees

A transaction fee of $5.50 (incl. GST) per transaction (not per ticket) applies for all tickets purchased via MIJF online or over the phone.

For tickets purchased through external ticketing agencies (not through MIJF), different fees will apply. Please check the venue’s website for details.

Tax Invoices

If you would like a tax invoice (including GST) for your purchase please email info@melbournejazz.com with your transaction details and we would be happy to provide you with a tax invoice.

Discounted Tickets

Concessions

Holders of the following valid concession cards are eligible for concession price tickets, where available: Student Card (full-time), Carer Card, Health Care Card, Pension Card, Veterans Affairs Card, and all government-issued Seniors Cards. Concession price tickets also apply to children 16 years and under.

For tickets purchased through external ticketing agencies (not through MIJF), different concession may apply, please check the venue’s website and terms and conditions for details.

Proof of concession is required when purchasing or collecting your tickets and/or on entering the venue.

Companions

Companion card holders qualify for a complimentary ticket for their companion. Please contact Melbourne International Jazz Festival on (03) 9001 1388 or the event venue to purchase tickets.

Mob Tickets

Discounted tickets are available to members of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community, as well as Māori, Pasifika and First Nations people from other countries, for select performances each year.

Allocation for Mob Tickets is limited and subject to availability. Transaction fee and standard ticketing terms and conditions apply. Please ring (03) 9001 1388 if you have any queries.

Membership

By purchasing an annual MIJF Jazz Club membership, you will get access to discounted festival tickets, invitation-only events, ticket giveaways and more. You can purchase a membership through our website here.

Gift Vouchers

Have you got a jazz lover in your life? Give them the ultimate jazz experience with a Melbourne International Jazz Festival Gift voucher—purchased through our website here.

Gift vouchers can be used for tickets to events sold through the Melbourne International Jazz Festival and can only be used for purchases through the MIJF website or over the phone by calling (03) 9001 1388. Vouchers are not valid for purchases directly through venues.

Vouchers are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase.
