Melbourne International Jazz Festival is committed to improving access for all. If you have specific requirements, please notify venue staff when booking so that suitable arrangements can be made.

Wheelchair Access

Accessible seating is available at shows marked with the Wheelchair Accessible symbol. If the symbol is not displayed access may be limited and venue staff assistance may be required.

To make sure that we can cater for all your needs please discuss any access requirements with venue staff before you book.

Assistive Listening

Sound amplification systems are available for people who are deaf or hard of hearing. Performances that have this available will be marked with the Assistive Listening symbol. For assistance please see venue staff.

Auslan Interpreted

Performances marked with the Auslan Interpreted symbol are suitable for people who are Deaf and communicate using Australian Sign Language (Auslan).

Companion Card

MIJF offers a second ticket at no cost to Companion Card holders for all MIJF events. These can be booked via MIJF’s box office for internally-ticketed events – phone or in-person bookings only. For shows at Hamer Hall, Forum Melbourne, and Sidney Myer Music Bowl, please contact the venues directly.
