Bringing together an epic line-up of captivating live acts and some of our city’s finest DJs, Night Crawl invites you to hop between city spots and choose your own adventure, as you take in the best of Melbourne’s cutting-edge future jazz scene.

Cult favourite Uncomfortable Science present their brilliantly simple improvised jam at The Toff—featuring Hiatus Kaiyote’s Paul Bender, Perrin Moss and Simon Mavin, plus Brett Williams (USA) and Laneous. Catch the unorthodox synth genius of Evening News, the four-on-the-floor sounds of scene stalwarts Ben Grayson and Tamil Rogeon’s Steady Weather and Lani Zimmer’s new twist on timeless sounds—all at Whitehart Bar. At Wax Music Lounge, discover future soul artist Tiana Khasi, the lavish harmonies of Emma Volard or the gritty rhythms of Intermood. Climb the steps to HER Rooftop for an emotional and ornate listening experience with Polish-Australian pianist and composer Katarzyna Wiktorski, while Wrong Way Up channel vintage Afro disco and psychedelic boogie over at Fifty-Five, and funk masters The CB3 take over Workshop. Plus, a line-up of the city’s best DJs.
