Join children’s television icon Play School for an adventure of the big jazz kind!

Big Ted, Jemima, Humpty and hosts Teo Gebert and Rachel Coopes will use stories, games, music and songs to introduce children (and parents!) to the wonders of jazz.

Featuring a trio of Australia’s finest jazz musicians, this special family event will showcase the instruments and their sounds in an accessible and very fun way.

All children must be accompanied by an adult. Suitable for 2-5 years.

Babes in Arms policy
Children 2 years and under are free of charge and do not require a ticket. Children aged 3 and over will require a ticket.

Pram Parking
Please note that prams are not permitted inside the auditorium. A free pram parking facility will be available at the venue.

Seating/Standing
There will be both seating options and an open space dance floor available to choose from during the performance.

Parent Room Facilities
Baby Change and nursing facilities will be available but are limited, please contact a Melbourne International Jazz Festival team member for any assistance you require during your visit.

The performance runs for approximately 40 minutes with no interval
